Born in 1966 Belfeld, raised in Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands.

At a very young age my special interest for drawing was clearly visible, but I chose to study electronics.
Only at a later age I enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts, St. Joost, Breda, to submerge in the world of graphic design. Five intense, fascinating years that shaped my view on life and art.

Ever since 1994 I am making designs in my own studio, Ai1, or, in collaboration with the client, on location. Next to this I enjoyed teaching Media Design and managing/coaching a student company.

My combined background and broad expertise allows me to work structured in the framework of a project but always in a creative and very flexible manner.
My unduly interest in architecture (best of both worlds), is distinctly present in my art work.

The photos I love to take during many city trips and travels are a great source of inspiration.
At present I am working an living in Asia, new horizons …
